Achieving Success through Creative Investment

Hexagon Investments is an investment firm that is barely 20 years old. Diversification, great leadership and an insatiable focus on investing has driven this privately owned company to the top. Real estate, gas and oil, exploration and production are among the areas of interest that appeal to Hexagon. A perfect example of how a career in investments can bring success is by looking at Scott Reiman, founder and President of Hexagon Investments since 1992.

Achieving success through creative investing has allowed Reiman to graciously act as a philanthropist in the area of education in the Denver, Colorado, region. The Reiman Foundation supports many projects in guiding youth to understanding the importance of education. ACE Scholarships, a Denver-based organization, that provides financial aid to underprivileged youth, is another passion of Reiman’s. He serves on the board of trustees, taking pride in helping over 10,000 scholars since 2000.

Heavily vested in other community organizations, Scott also serves as an icon in the arts and health care projects throughout the Denver area. He supports Children’s Hospital Colorado, Graland Country Day School and the Denver Art Museum. Long-term commitment seems to be in Reiman’s nature. Since 1999, he has been a member of the Board of Trustees of the University of Denver, in addition to chairing the Investment Committee. A respected member of the community, he also serves on the Mayor’s Financial Management Task Force for the City of Denver.

Graduating from the University of Denver in 1987, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance, Scott appears to possess a huge determination for giving back to those that made his opportunities possible. The highlighted activities listed, are just a few of the positive ambitions that surround Scott. He was also known for playing an active part in the Big Brother program and the American Transplant Association. Reiman also received the Ammi Hyde Award for Young Alumni Achievement, in 2000.

A career in investing can create role models for young people in more ways than one. Becoming a business owner, philanthropist, and financial adviser too many community organizations, proves that a good education and hard work can provide an advantageous and enjoyable life.
